Angela Kinsey Shoot

I'm just getting around to getting images from the photo shoot in L.A. into this blog. Sorry for the delay.

Angela Kinsey, who stars in "The Office" was great to work with, hamming it up for the shoot. We had a lot of ground to cover in 2 hours. I decided to shoot the image for my ad in her back yard, since we had so much lighting equipment. Plus, the Baylor photographer needed to get additional shots of her for Baylor magazine. He shot those images in her house.

Above is the ad with the chosen photo. I've still got some detail work to do, but that's pretty much how it'll look. It's part of a series that showcases Baylor alumni who have done significant things. We're trying to get Mark Hurd, CEO of HP, and NFL Hall of Famer Mike Singletary to cooperate as well. Those will be fun shoots if they agree.

I guess if you win an Emmy, you're allowed to kiss it.

I lobbied for this shot to make it into the ad.

Emmy as javelin.

The trials of a TV star.

What the set looked like.

I stood in for Angela while we were getting the lighting just right. I'm giving Steve Carrell a run for his money.

Things you can do with a soccer ball

If you happen to carry one around with you all day.

Mamaw and Pop visit Austin

We had Mom and Dad over for Labor Day weekend and had a great time. We got to wish Matthew happy birthday over the phone, eat Japanese at Benihana, see fireworks and take a train ride. The train ride was pretty lame, taking off from east Austin, and heading east toward Manor. Really nice views of weeds, grafitti, and the backs of warehouses. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. But, when you're handed lemons, make lemonade. Which we did.

Mamaw and Pop with the boys at Benihana.

Pop getting a mouthful.

Cole showing proper etiquette.

Glen catching the flying shrimp (circled) from our chef.

Stacy ready for the train ride.

Mamaw and Pop relaxing in the train car.

Me and Pop. Pop is either: a) angry, or b) smelling diesel fumes.

Alyx and the boys during the train ride. We had to occupy ourselves, due to the boring scenery.

Cole about to give Stacy a heart attack.

Stacy and Alyx... I'm not gonna even attempt to explain.
